Our Commitment

CrossFit Reckoning is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to our website.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, an internationally recognized set of recommendations for accessible web content published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

WCAG 2.1 Level AA defines requirements to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities — including vision impairments, hearing impairments, motor limitations, cognitive limitations, and combinations of these.

What We've Done

Steps we've taken to make our website accessible include:

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper landmarks (header, main, footer, nav)
  • Skip-to-main-content link on every page for keyboard and screen reader users
  • Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images
  • Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation
  • Color contrast that meets WCAG 2.1 AA standards for text and interactive elements
  • Support for reduced-motion preferences
  • Form fields with proper labels and error messaging
  • Descriptive link text and page titles
  • ARIA labels on embedded third-party content

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content on our website may not yet be fully accessible. We're aware that:

  • Third-party embedded widgets (such as our Google Reviews and Instagram feed) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards, as their accessibility is controlled by the third-party providers.
  • Some older blog post images may lack complete descriptive alt text; we are working to improve this.

We continue to work with our vendors and improve our own content to close these gaps.

Physical Facility Accessibility

Our gym at 199 Reeceville Road, Coatesville, PA is a working fitness facility. If you have accessibility questions about visiting our facility — including parking, entry, restrooms, or class scaling for physical limitations — please contact us in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the CrossFit Reckoning website. If you encounter an accessibility barrier or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know:

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within a reasonable time and to address concerns promptly.
