Consult a Physician Before Starting
The content and services provided by CrossFit Reckoning ("we," "us," or "our") — including classes at our facility, our website, blog posts, social media, and any training or nutrition information we share — are for general fitness and educational purposes only. They are not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Before beginning any exercise program, always consult a qualified physician or licensed healthcare provider, especially if you are pregnant, have a pre-existing medical condition, are recovering from injury or surgery, take prescription medications, or have concerns about how physical activity may affect your health.
Assumption of Risk
Physical exercise — including CrossFit, strength training, conditioning, gymnastics, weightlifting, and any other activity provided by CrossFit Reckoning — carries an inherent risk of injury. By participating in classes, open gym, drop-ins, events, or any activity at our facility, you understand and voluntarily assume this risk.
Our coaches will do their best to teach proper technique, provide scaling and modifications, and create a safe training environment. However, you are responsible for listening to your body, using appropriate technique, and stopping if you feel any pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, shortness of breath, or other warning signs. If you experience any of these, stop exercising immediately and seek medical attention.
Not Medical Advice
Any information shared through our website, blog posts, newsletters, social media, or by our coaches — including but not limited to training tips, nutrition guidance, mobility recommendations, and lifestyle advice — is not medical, therapeutic, or nutritional advice. It is offered as general information based on our coaches' experience and CrossFit's methodology.
Individual results vary. What works for one person may not be appropriate for another. Always defer to a qualified medical, nutritional, or mental health professional for individualized guidance.
Nutrition & Dietary Content
Any nutrition-related content we share — including blog posts, meal ideas, and general recommendations — is educational only. It is not a substitute for advice from a registered dietitian, physician, or other qualified health professional. If you have food allergies, dietary restrictions, an eating disorder history, or a medical condition affected by diet (such as diabetes), please consult a qualified professional before changing your nutrition.
Mental Health Content
We occasionally publish content that touches on the relationship between exercise and mental health. This content is not therapy, counseling, or clinical treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), reach out to a licensed mental health professional, or go to your nearest emergency room.
No Guarantee of Results
Fitness outcomes depend on many factors — including consistency, effort, sleep, nutrition, stress, genetics, and pre-existing health conditions. We do not guarantee any specific results from training with us. Testimonials shared on our website or social media reflect individual member experiences and are not a promise of similar outcomes for every person.
Emergency Situations
If you believe you are having a medical emergency, do not rely on our website or contact us — call 911 immediately.
